DIY CROPPED SILK SINGLET

In an early homage to the coming SS13 season (and the amazing Summer that Australia is clearly having - thanks instagram), I recently made this cropped silk singlet for Vogue Australia. Bare midriffs were all over the runways at the recent fashion month (Peter Som, Balenciaga Marc Jacobs, Band of Outsiders, Charlotte Ronson etc etc) so I thought I'd show you how. I love this project because it's a little rework of something you either a) already have in your closet or b) can find for nothing at a thrift store. Another before & after piece to satisfy your holiday breast coverage needs (although barely). The best part? Paired with a high0-waisted skirt you can get away with this little top virtually anywhere. Make sure to bookmark this one if you're in the part of the world that's knee deep in snow at the moment, because I just know this style of top is going to be perfect for next summer!

You can check out the tutorial for Vogue here.
