DIY ROUNDED HEM MINI SKIRT

Lately I've been observing a shift in hemlines. Whilst they appear to have nipped back up to the thighs for summer (to be expected), they also seem to have retreated even further at the front and sometimes at the back too. With a slightly rounded look - check it out for yourself.

And what's not to love about such an easy to DIY trend? Simply take a thrifted skirt and cut the hem, making sure to do it in a rounded shape - like I spied Elly doing (via instagram - username: ellychic).  You can do the front and the back, or just the front if you so choose. Because hemming this shape can be tricky, this project works best on leather or another fabric where you don't have to hem it. Happy DIYing!
