I love flowers on tables but they require changing wayyy too often and die so quickly in the Hong Kong heat - it often seems a waste to even have them at all. I've been spotting solutions to this quandry all over New York while I've been here for fashion week - the use of planters and pot plats with herbs as centerpieces rather than vases with flowers. I love it because it adds a pop of green without having to discard flowers every other day, and it's so nice to see your plants grow rather than wilt and die. You can use a vintage timber planter like this one for a longer table or opt for small terracotta pot plants for round tables. Simple! Need some advice on choose what to put in your planters? Check out this post.
